As posted earlier, the cloud mass from Delta shifted close to Chennai and ECR, OMR and South Chennai are getting steady rains. Its going to be the perfect monsoon weekend to start with drizzly type rains

Good morning to all. The rains from South Chennai will cover other parts of Chennai too. If the intense bands marked in Radar falls over Chennai without weakening, we can get one good spell particularly the North Chennai and its suburban belts as it spins over them.
Else it will be steady / drizzly rains from the weakened stratified clouds for whole of Chennai in the day to start with.
