Caution - Do not spread or believe in rumors
There are rumors wide-spreading that the water levels in major lakes in the city have reached their threshold! These are mere rumors and they are filled just by 20 percent. Further, the night showers were received only in the city areas and not in lake regions. The city requires more downpour.
As of 08.30 a.m. today (3rd November 2017), the rainfall measurement in different areas of Chennai city are as follows
