Chennai Rain Update - Mighty show has come to an end

The persistent heavy rains which have lashed and inundated the state of Tamil Nadu, especially, the Chennai Metro City, seems to have ended.
The intensity of the hanging clouds has weakened and only light drizzles are possible. However, the light rains may persist.
As such, as far as the Chennai Metro City is concerned, there are no intense clouds and one may even expect a sunny day.
However, this respite from the rains may only be temporary as rains may not be long away as the low-pressure zones are forming regularly due to the onset of the Northeast monsoon rainy season.
