Skyline inaugurated between Meenambakkam Metro Station and Aiport

A skyline which links the Meenambakkam Metro Railway Station and the Chennai Airport has been inaugurated.
This skyline will provide an easy coverage of the distance between the Metro Station and the airport for the passengers travelling from the airport to Metro station.
Similarly, the passengers proceeding to the airport from the Meenambakkam Metro Railway Station to the Airport will find it easy to go through this skyline.
The skyline construction to link both domestic and international airports from the Metro station is in progress.
This work has been partly completed – the section from Meenambakkam Metro station and the Old Airport arrival section is finished. A lift has also been provided.
The persons proceeding to the airport need not have to cross any roads and reach the airports in the covered skyline.
The skyline is linked to the international airport and one can reach the departure lounge or arrival lounge using either the staircase or the lift.
However, presently the lift is not functioning - hence, this skyline cannot be used for the present.
