TN to give away Anna Medals to 128 Police Personnel

About 128 personnel from the departments including Police, Fire, Rescue, Prison, Home Guards, and Finger Print Science and identified for their excellence in performance and dedication at work. All of them will be rewarded with the Chief Minister’s Anna Medals. On Thursday, the state government had announced regarding this Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Medals during Anna’s birth anniversary which falls to be on 15th September.
Award recipients
A press release in this regard has mentioned the list of award recipients that includes 100 police personnel ranging from grade-1 constables to superintendents of police. Here is the list of some of those:
- 10 fire and rescue service personnel from deputy directors to firemen
- 10 prison service staff of Deputy jailor rank to grade 1 warder
- 6 home guards including that of assistant commandant generals and selection leaders
- One superintendent of police and DSP from finger print science unit
