Changes in the pattern of train service

Line Block/Power Block is permitted in Tambaram Yard for construction of pedestrian subway using precast reinforced Concrete Cement boxes at Km 29/19-21 in lieu of Level Crossing No.30 and at Perungulathur Station for construction of Road Under Bridge at Level Crossing No.32 in Chennai Egmore - Villupuram section on 3rd September 2017.
Consequently, the following are the changes in the pattern of Train Services.
EMU trains running from Chennai Beach to Chengalpattu are partially cancelled between Tambaram to Chengalpattu from 04.50 hrs to 07.25 hrs on 3rdSeptember 2017
EMU Specials will be run as follows:- Chengalpattu – Guduvancheri EMU Specials will leave at 03.55 hrs, 04.30 hrs, 04.45 hrs, 05.10 hrs and 05.55 hrs on Sunday, 3rd September 2017.
Similarly, EMU Specials from Guduvancheri to Chengalpattu will leave at 04.30 hrs, 05.05 hrs, 05.30 hrs, 06.00 hrs, and 06.30 hrs on Sunday, 3rd September 2017.
