Supplementary exam candidates may apply for engineering counselling

The secretary of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission has informed that the interested students who passed in the last held supplementary examinations for +2 can apply for counselling to join engineering courses.

In this academic year’s counselling for engineering courses, more than 50% of the available seats are still vacant after the counselling sessions.

The counselling for the open community cadre has been completed. The counselling for the students who failed in the +2 Public Examination, and later wrote the supplementary examination and passed is scheduled on 17th August.

The students in the above category, if interested in attending the counselling for engineering courses, will have to come to the Anna University Entrance Examination and Admission Centre personally and will have to register their application from 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM on 16th August (Wednesday, today).

They have to bring the 10th Standard and +2 mark sheets, the hall-ticket to write +2 examinations, transfer certificate, permanent caste certificate, residential proof certificate, 1st graduate in the generation proof certificate with attestation, and photographs and also the application fee of Rs. 500. The application fee for SC/ST is Rs. 250.

In case they have already joined another college, they have to bring the certificate/letter of identity from the college principal.
