The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that due to the recent formation of a thermal convection in the atmosphere, there are prospects of rain with thunder in few places in Tamil Nadu.
An official from the centre explained that because of the recent formation of a thermal convection in the atmosphere, there are prospects of rain with thunder in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The Chennai Metro city will remain partly cloudy. It may rain in the evening or night.
