Prospects of rain in few places in Tamil Nadu

As a depression zone has developed over the South Andhra coastal area and North Tamil Nadu coastal area, there are prospects of rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained that the low-pressure zone which had stabilised over the regions of South Andhra coast extending up to Kanyakumari has weakened and spread to the Northern Tamil Nadu coastal area.
Due to this, there are prospects of rain in the next 24 hours in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry,
The Chennai Metro City will remain cloudy. There are prospects of rain with thunder in a few areas in the city in the evening or night.
