Lodging charges up in Tirupathi

Consequent to the implementation of the GST, the price of lodging, marriage hall and the gold dollars sold in the temple premises have all gone up.
As per the present rates TTD lodging charges for the rates from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 2000 will entail a GST slab of 12%. The lodging charges above Rs. 2000 will entail a GST slab of 18%.
The GST slab for the marriage halls in the temple premises for which the charge is Rs. 10000 is up to 18%.
The gold dollars sold in the temple entail a 3% GST slab along with the price.
