Its the time for all shopaholics. Starting from 1st July, GST is set to come into effect across India. At this point of time, various brands and companies have come forward to sell out their pile of stocks before onset of GST and hence, they have announced awesome offers.
Big Bazar has announced 22 percent tax on their products starting from the midnight of 30th June. Flipkart, an ecommerce portal has started its pre-GST sale yesterday. Amazon, yet another ecommerce portal has announced 40 to 50 percent discount on electronic and home appliances.
Speaking about this, the CEO of one of the leading retail company says that electronics and home appliances retailers are trying to sell products manufactured 6 months ago. This is because they will not be able to reap the same profit after implementing GST system.
As compared to last month, there are 3 times increased offers on Paytm. After implementing GST, prices of indispensable products are likely to reduce. And on the other hand, people have started showing interest in buying home appliances before onset of GST.
