Traffic congestion near Gemini Bridge

There is a lot of traffic along Uthamar Gandhi Road near Gemini Bridge. This is caused by the reconstruction works carried out at the sewage drain.
Due to this, all the vehicles passing via Nungambakkam High road and Cathedral Road towards Gemini Bridge are left with no way than to move at very slow pace. This has irked people travelling in this way. These reconstruction works began last night and the progress is too slow. This has resulted in heavy traffic, say commuters. They have requested the officials to wrap up the works soon.
