Pre-GST sale by Paytm, 1mg and other online retailers

If the customers make sure that their sellers’ stock on online retail like Paytm get cleared ahead of setting up the GST tax regime, they will get special discounts, according to leading retailers.
There is Pre-GST sale going on in platforms like Paytm where more than 6,000 retailers sell products from 500 plus brands. For products such as TV, laptops, smartphones, ACs, refrigerators, DSLR cameras, footwear, and lot more, there are discounts and cashback announced.
Giving an email response, Paytm states that it is an opportune time to all the retailers who aim at offloading the whole inventory before the new tax rates come to effect.
1mg, the online drug marketplace has also joined the bandwagon. There may be shortage of medicines by July because of imposing GST. At 1mg.com, stock medicines are offered at 20 percent slashed rate.
