Passengers checking time reduced in Chennai Meenambakkam domestic airport

Action has been taken to reduce the inspection time for the flight passengers in all major airports.
Presently, the flight passengers at Chennai Meenambakkam domestic airport need to wait for up to 30 minutes and to check the personal baggage for up to 15 minutes. This is a rather long time delaying the flight passengers.
Considering this inconvenience of the flight passengers, India Airport Authority, jointly with Air traffic department, has relaxed the inspection process.
Accordingly, the flight passengers will spend a maximum of 10 minutes for getting boarding passes and baggage inspection a maximum of 5 minutes.
The airport officials confirmed this has considerably eased the difficulties of the flight passengers and this would be implemented in the international airport as well.
