Rain in Tamil Nadu likely today

Due to overlay rotation, a few places in Tamil Nadu are likely to receive rain showers, say sources from the meteorological department.
In their note about this, the Chennai meteorology department officials state that there is a low pressure close to Kumari Kadal. This has lost intensity and converted into overlay rotation near Lakshadweep. Due to this, a few places in Tami Nadu and Pondicherry are likely to receive rain showers. As far as Chennai is concerned, there will be cloudy climate. A few places may receive heavy downpour.
