Madras Chamber orchestra is well known in Chennai city and place under the baton of Bernard Wacheux for the past 20 years. The dedication of Bernard Wacheux is deeply appreciated by this chamber group and are always eager to perform under the baton of such a distinguished person. Currently the leader of the orchestra is Jerry Fernandes, much sought after violinist of famous music directors and he is also a dynamic and selfless leader. All the musicians in MCO are gifted versatile, being conversant in both carnatic and western classical music. They sacrifice their time and finances for providing fine music to the public and specially to the youth.
