The State of Telangana signs MoU with Google to become a Digital State

The state government of Telangana has signed MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Google, Hyderabad.
The Indian representatives of Google, Hyderabad signed the MoU in presence of the state minister for technology and industry.
With this MoU, the plans will be worked out to facilitate browsing of all the websites of the different departments of the state government of Telangana in the smartphone. Safety of information exchange will be ensured covering even medium and small scale industries.
Further special training programs will be given to the Engineering and MCA students based on Android applications and creation of new Apps.
Another program is to develop a cultural foundation project to create a digital repository of all the archaeological and historically famous monuments and items jointly with the departments of culture and tourism.
Google India and the Telangana state government have also planned to educate the rural women on the digital technology front.
