Jallikattu dates announced in Alankanallur, Palamedu, and Avaniyapuram

The dates for conducting Jallikattu contest have been announced in Madurai District Alanganallur, Avaniyapuram, and Palamedu.
The Jallikattu Organisation Committee members from the areas of Madurai District Alankanallur, Palamedu, and Avaniyapuram, met the Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam at the Secretariat and discussed individually regarding this.
After the meeting with the Chief Minister, they had a session with the Press Reporters and informed that they thanked the Chief Minister for his timely action on the removal of the ban imposed on Jallikattu.
Now, they have decided that the Jallikattu tournaments/contest will be conducted in Avaniyapuram on 5th February, in Palamedu on 9th February, and Alankanallur on 10th February.
They further informed they had invited the Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam and the AIADMK General Secretary V K Sasikala to attend the event.
