The President approves Jallikattu Ordinance

The President has approved the Ordinance passed by the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly calling for the removal of the ban on Jallikattu.
The youth of the Tamil Nadu State gathered together to organize a peaceful but insistent protest throughout Tamil Nadu which was unprecedented in history. The public and other organizations also came forward in support.
As a consequence, the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly passed an Ordinance amending the Law on the prevention of cruelty to animals passed as an ordinance on 23rd January.
This was submitted to the President by the governor of Tamil Nadu for his approval.
Now, the news is confirmed that the president has granted approval fort his ordinance.
