New rules for adoptions with effect from 16th January

The Central Government will be issuing new regulations with regard to adoption of child with effect from 16th January.
New norms:
There is an increase in the orphaned children throughout the county.At the same time there is rule that orphan or an abandoned or surrendered child can be adopted. This is being followed. In order to simplify this, the Central Government has now enacted new regulations. This will come to effect from 16th January. The new regulation will a allow relatives to adopt children. Moreover the parents who have undergone the second marriage can adopt the children born of the first marriage.
