Final voters list to get released today

In Tamil Nadu, a quick revision of voters’ list is done and the final list is set to get released today. An earlier unedited version was released in September last year and call for corrections were announced and the applications were received.
Now, the final voters’ list is ready. This list contains 5 crore and 92 lakh voters name out of which men comprise of 2 crore and 93 lakh and women comprise of 2 crore and 99 lakh. And the third gender category comprise of 5,040 names.
The maximum number of voters are from Sozhinganallur of Kanchipuram district with 6,22,333 voters. Keezhvelur of Nagai district has the least number of voters with 66,920, according to sources from the Election Commission.
This final list of voters will be made live on the official Election Commission website. New applicants can apply for voter Id online, states a press release by the Election Commission.
