Prospects of Northeast monsoon commencing on 30th October

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are bright prospects of the Northeast monsoon rainy season to start on 30th October.
The Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, Mr Balachandran has a session with the press reporters today (Wednesday, 26th October).
He informed that the conditions conducive for the commencement of the northeast monsoon rainy season would be formed for it to start on 30th October.
The storm Kyant has stabilised over the central-eat Bay of Bengal. There are chances for the storm Kyant to move towards central west part of the Bay of Bengal.
There are prospects of rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu over the next 2 days.
Tamil Nadu fishermen are warned not to move towards the Andhra coastal area.
He informed that the northeast monsoon would be normal or slightly below that.
