BSNL Leads in winning new customers

TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) has informed that BSNL is leading on the efforts to win more new customers for its service.
BSNL is growing to be the leader in winning more cell phone customers. As on last June, BSNL has won 13,03 Lakh new customers throughout India and thus leads the competitors.
BSNL has recorded a monthly growth 1.48 percent more than its competitors. As more customers are opting for BSNL, the market share of BSNL has increased from 8,54 percent to 8.69 percent.
With this effort, BSNL is in the 6th position in India in providing cell phone services.
BSNL has informed that this increase in winning more new customers was possible after the free roaming facility was introduced.
