Reliance Jio against other telecom operators

Mukesh Ambani announced the tariff plans of upcoming Reliance Jio. This latest telecom entrant was not focused on the voice calling, free minutes, or the validity, rather on data. This system functions on VoLTE which means even the voice calls are transmitted over data. To put it in simple words, Reliance Jio offers voice calling for free. In fact, Ambani had confirmed for himself that the Reliance Jio users will never have to pay for voice calls. It also boasts about its data packs that it is the cheapest of all telecom providers in India, priced at Rs 51 per GB.
On comparison with the other telecom operators, 500 MB of data on Airtel, 550 MB of data on Vodafone, and 300 MB of data along with unlimited night time data with Reliance Jio are priced Rs 144, Rs 189 and Rs 149 respectively, and the validity of these plans are 28 days, 21 days and 28 days. While 1 GB data pack on Airtel, Vodafone and Idea for a period of 28 days is Rs 255, Rs 297 and Rs 249, Jio offers 750 MB of data and unlimited night data for Rs 199 and valid for 7 days.
