Bharti Airtel ups its benefits on pre paid recharge packs

Closely following at the heels of Idea’s increased benefits on pre paid packages, Bharti Airtel announced yesterday increased benefits on select pre-paid data recharge packs and Sachet Packs by offering 25-67 per cent more data at the same price.
An official company release said, the Rs 655 4G and 3G monthly recharge pack will now offer 5 GB data against 3 GB earlier, an increase of 67 per cent. Similarly, the Rs 455 4G and 3G pack now offers 50 per cent more data at 3 GB as against 2 GB. The Rs 989 4G and 3G pack will now offer 10 GB data compared to 6.5 GB earlier, offering 54 per cent more benefits.
The release also said, In the Sachet Packs category, Rs 25 2G pack now offers 45 per cent more data while the Rs 145 4G and 3G pack provides 32 per cent more data. Even the Rs 5 one-day 2G data pack benefits have been increased by 48 per cent to 30 MB keeping in mind non-regular or first time users, particularly in rural markets.
