Cut-off marks may come down this year

There are chances of cut-off marks coming down this year since the chemistry and maths question papers were tough in the ongoing plus 2 examinations.
This year the Plus 2 examinations began on 4th of this month. Chemistry and Maths examinations are over. Since these question papers were very tough, there are chances of cut-off marks coming down when compared to last year.
There are 20 government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu. There are 2,650 seats for MBBS in these colleges. Prime Minster Narendra Modi has announced that there will be more medical colleges.
After Medicine, there is importance for engineering courses. Even in the cut off marks in the medical and engineering seats, the physics marks play an important role.
There are 560 engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. If the cut off marks are lessened compared to last year, than those who did not get medical seats will be in a position to join this year. This will also apply to engineering colleges.
On the whole, candidates who got lesser cut - off marks will be position to join in the medical, engineering and veterinary colleges.
