Applications for Police Constable is Open

Here is an opening for those who wish to join the police force as constables. Nearly 3150 positions are to be filled by the department. Applications for the same are welcome now.
In a report rolled out by the Chennai Metropolitan Police, it is stated that the department is open for applications from men and women who wish to join the police force in Chennai. The age limit for applying is between 18 and 50. There should not be guilty of any crime. Educational qualification is 10th standard - pass or fail.
The applicant should hold a ration card and a resident of Chennai. The applicants will be sent to the police stations in their locality where they will be given necessary training.
For selected candidates, police cap, uniform and footwear will be provided. They will receive special allowance of Rs 200 for night patrol and Rs 150 for patrol during the day time. For those who excel in their work, Honorable Chief Minister Award and President award will be given out.
Applications can be sent to the police headquarters, Saidapet. Anna Salai, Saidapet, Chennai - 600015. The application can be sent either as courier or submitted directly. The deadline for submitting is 5 pm on 25th of this month.About 3150 individuals are to be recruited for this position.
