CMRL work delayed

Sources have said that the trial run of the Chennai Metro Rail (CMRL) that was planned between Little Mount and the OTA (Officers` Training Academy) will be delayed.
There are still several procedures to be completed before the trial run can begin between these two stations... We need to get some permissions before starting the trial run between the Little Mount and Officers Training Academy. We are not sure how long this will take. We thought it may be done by the first week of October, but now, there are indications that it will take longer than planned, say Metro Rail officials.
Work is now being focussed on the Chennai Airport and Meenambakkam stations. This line is scheduled to be launched by March next year.
