Introduction of tourist ticket card for travel in Chennai Metro

Chennai Metro Rail administration has introduced the tourist ticket card for travelling in Metro train.
If this ticket cards procured by paying Rs. 100/-, a person can travel any number of times in that single day with them.
A Chennai Metro official explained that a lot of concessional schemes are being introduced by Chennai Metro for the passengers. The 3 types of concessional fares introduced last week has been appreciated and welcome by the public. So far, 1600 persons have procured this concessional card.
Following this success, tourist ticket cards are set to be introduced. A refundable advance of Ras 50/- has to be paid to buy this tourist ticket card. The card can be recharged by paying Rs. 100/- and can be used to travel unlimited number of times on the given day. This one-day travel concession has to be availed within 30 days from the date of procuring the tourist ticket card.
