Tourist travel card launched by Chennai Metro Rail

A new tourist travel card where a person can buy a card for Rs 100 (Rs 50 refundable) and takes as many rides in 24 hours as they wish has been introduced by Chennai Metro Rail. This is in addition to the three trip passes they have currently - 12 trips with seven day validity, 50 trips valid for 30 days and 100 trips valid for 60 days.
Sometime back, CMRL had introduced trip passes that offer 20% discount for regular commuters.
There are three types of trip passes - 12 trips valid for seven days, 50 trips valid for 30 days and 100 trips valid for 60 days.
