Anushka’s Rudramadevi to hit the screens on 4th September

Anushka has donned the lead role in a film titled Rudramadevi. The film which has been directed by Gunasekar is being released on 4th September.
Rudramadevi is a film which has Anushka, Rana, Allu Arjun, Nithya Menon, Catherine Tresa and Prakash Raj in the cast. Ilayaraja has composed music for this high-budgeted film. Rudramadevi was supposed to release early summer. However, the film was stuck with financial crunch and even the VFX and EDS 3D conversion took a lot of time to be completed. Some of the VFX works are still going on and Gunasekhar himself is overseeing it personally.
Gunasekhar confirmed that Rudramadevi will release on September 4th. The director further said that the post-production activities are going on at the moment and the technicians are giving their best to bring out a high-quality output.
Rudramadevi is based on the life and legend of Kakatiya warrior princess, Rudramadevi.
Thenandal Films is releasing the film in Tamil Nadu.
