Karthi, Mammootty and Aishwarya Rai in Mani Rathinam’s film

After the release of O Kadhal Kanmani, Mani Rathinam was talking rest for some time. Now he is busy in the works connected with his next film. It has mentioned that he has readied the story of his next film. Now the works connected with the screenplay is going on.
Selection for the hero and heroine was underway. The story of the film is about two heroes. Hence Karthi has been selected for one of the hero role. Nagarjuna was approached for another hero’s role but now Mammootty has been selected for this role.
There is also information that Aishwarya Rai will be donning the female lead role. She had earlier donned the heroine roles in the films Iruvar, Guru and Raavanan directed by Mani Rathinam.
Selection for the other cast and crew are going on. It is expected that the shooting of the film will commence next month. The film will be an action oriented one like Thalapathy.
