Shreya Reddy acts in an AIDS awareness film

Popular director Priyadarshan has directed many hit films in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. His Tamil film Kanchivaram which had Prakash Raj and Shreya Reddy in the lead roles bagged the National Award. This film spoke about the ill-fated silk weavers.
Now Priyadarshan will be directing a film about AIDS awareness. Prakash Raj will be joining hands with Shreya Reddy for the second time.
Shreya Reddy had acted in the film Thimiru which had Vishal in the lead role. After this, she did not get many offers. She believes this new film will give her due recognition and identity.
The title of the film is yet to be finalized. Santosh Sivan will handle the camera while Sabu Cyril will be in charge of arts. The shooting of the film will commence during the last week of this month.
