Karthi to be directed by Mani Rathinam

The last film which Mani Rathinam had directed was O Kadhal Kanmani. This film was a great hit. Now Mani Rathinam is busy with the works connected with his next film. At a time when leading actors are interested to act in Mani Rathinam’s film, there is news that Karthi will be donning the lead role in a film which is to be directed by Mani Rathinam. It is understood that Mani Rathinam and Karthi discussed the story of the film in depth. The shooting of the film will commence during the month of September.
Few years back Karthi had worked as an assistant director in Mani Rathinam’s Aayutha Ezhuthu and later made his debut in the superhit film Paruthiveeran.
