Public consultation for opinions/suggestions regarding multi-stroeyed car-parking systems
The complex will occupy a space of 4217 sq ft and will consist of 4 floors including the ground floor.
Ground floor can accommodate parking of 1600 motor bikes. The first floor will accommodate parking of 192 cars with automatic movement facility. The other floors will be used as commercial complexes.
A discussion with public seeking opinions/suggestions for this project was conducted at the Corporation Girls’ High School yesterday (Wednesday, 25th February) morning.
Mayor Durasamy, Minister Valarmathi, Collector Vikram Kapur, Deputy Mayor Benjamin Regional President, Councillors, and representatives of residents participated in the meeting.
The public observed that the project is welcome. This facility should be built in other crowded suburban localities.
Finally, the mayor informed that construction of bridges, widening of roads, abd setting up vehicale parkings will be completed in 5 places within a year.
