Midnight check for vehicles-1052 arrested!

Police arrested around 1052 persons while conducting vehicle checks on day-before-yesterday night (21st February).
There has been a disturbingly increasing trend of murders and robberies and street robbery in the city of Chennai.
Police authorities have ordered to take steps to bring this down.
As one of the steps, vehicles-checking during nights have been undertaken.
Vehicle checks were conducted during the night on 21st February. They arrested 1052 persons on suspicion.86 persons were arrested on drunken driving.
