Helpline assists Board exam candidates, parents

As the Std. 10 and Std. 12 public examinations are approaching, staff members of G. V. Krishnareddy (GVK) Emergency Management Research Institute (EMRI), Chennai chapter, are assisting a lot of the candidates and their parents through the helpline 104. It is an initiative of Tamil Nadu Health Systems Project.
The staff members have meticulously prepared a list of tips detailing the does and donts and convey them to the callers. In most families, parents too get equally excited and are unable to cope with their daily routine, said the team leader of the helpline.
Counselors are available round the clock every day.
They provide information about the nearest place to avail healthcare, locations of 24-hour pharmacies and takes in complaints and suggestions with regard to health facilities.
The team leader has requested the public to call the helpline anytime for assistance.
