100 New parks in Chennai City: Activities in full swing!

100 new parks are being built in Chennai City by the Corporation in the current year with the activities going in full swing.
The officials of the Corporation park department explained:
Chennai Corporation had selected last year the placed where the population intensity is quite high.
20 new parks are being planned in the North Chennai, 17 new parks are planned for Central Chennai. 63 New parks are planned for South Chennai.
The lay-outs for these parks are ready.
Currently, Panagal Park, Natesan Park, and My Lady Park in the city have been furnished with facilities for acupuncture pavements for walking, platforms for performing yoga, etc which are meant to bring good health for both the body and mind. Herbal plants, new sunshade umbrellas, and pyramids will be added shortly. Security posted in the parks will monitor any unruly behaviour by anti-social elements and hand them over to the police.
Special maintenance care will be taken for the parks, especially during the summer season. The parks are set to become symbols for beauty & health!.
