Gigantic National Flag unfurled in an engineering College at Tambaram

A gigantic National Flag was hoisted in a 111 feet pole at a private engineering college in Tambaram. Recently the republic day was celebrated in this college. Retired naval officer Sankara Narayanan unfurled the National Flag in a 111 feet pole.
The flag had 36 feet length and 24 feet breadth. Students honoured the flag once it was unfurled. It is understood that the college authorities have obtained the permission from the civil aviation department for installing a very high flag mast. The flag will fly all 365 days. In the night there will lighting on the top to enjoy the beauty of the flag.
