Central government announces bank facility for students who get scholarships!

The central government has decided to facilitate payment of scholarships to the students through bank accounts.
This step has been taken to ensure the disbursement of scholarship for better security & safety, free 7 fair treatment, and hassles-free operations.
The scholarship amounts and other financial assistance will be remitted directly to the savings accounts of the students.
UGC (University Grants Commission) has sent a circular to all universities and colleges on this regard.
This circular instructs that the process of disbursement of all scholarships through savings bank accounts should be immediately confirmed & implemented.
All educational institutions must be registered in the General Funds management System. This step will enable the Human Resources Welfare department to check the applications received from students through internet and facilitate payments.
Applications received through internet will be scrutinised immediacy and the scholarship amounts will be remitted to the individual savings bank accounts of the concerned students.
UGC has also instructed that the scholarships policies of the Human Welfare Department must be made available in the 1st page of the web sites
