Facility for getting encumbrance certificate on-line!

The state Minister for Registration, Mr. Sampath, has informed that around 31 lakh persons have utilised the department facility to obtain ‘Encumbrance Certificates’ on-line during the last 7 months.
The facility to know more about the encumbrance of the property on-line was introduced on 11th June, 2014.
From 11th June till 12th January, 31,41,896 searches have been carried out on-line.
The users must follow the rules and regulations of impersonation or fake documents registrations.
The registration department is set to extend this utility service by checking all the original documents including proof of income, and the latest encumbrance certificate.
