Prospects of ban on ‘Jallikkattu’ contests being lifted!

A team of state government officials from Tamil Nadu have gone to Delhi to hold talks with the central government officials on lifting the ban imposed on ‘Jallikkattu’.
The case is being put forward to remove bulls from the list of showpiece display animals. Mr. Javadekar, Central Minister for environment, informed that this is being taken up.
It is expected that the ban on jallikkattu will be lifted in a short time.
