Visit to Arignar Anna Zoological Park made Hassle free

This year for Pongal, visitors can really enjoy without any hindrance since more than 200 forest department personnel will be deployed at the Arignar Anna Zoological Park (AAZP), Vandalur.
At AAZP 20 additional ticket counters will be opened for three days from January 15 to 17 from 7am to 6pm. An extra parking lot will be opened to accommodate at least 1000 vehicles. Police personnel, NCC and NSS cadets from schools and colleges will also be roped in. Additional CCTV cameras have been installed in certain locations at the zoo where crowds are likely to gather. Around 500 additional buses to the zoo have been made.
Cigarettes, liquor, sugarcane and plastic bags are banned in the zoo and visitors who carry them will not be allowed entry.
