Pongal special buses 2015

4,655 buses will be operated by the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation from the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT) in Koyambedu to various towns on five days
Buses will be operated from January 10 to 14 and if need be on January 15 too. While 600 buses will ply on January 10, 470 will be available on January 11, 720 on January 12, 1,408 on January 13 and 1,457 on January 14.
Similarly, 7,250 buses will be operated from various other places in the state. The TNSTC will also operate the same number of special buses from January 16 to 19 for people returning from various places.
Tickets can be booked online for the special buses plying more than 300km. The corporation will also open 25 special counters at the Koyambedu terminus for current reservation.
TNSTC has set up a helpline for people to lodge complaints. People can call 04424794709 and lodge their complaints, the statement said.
