State Government announces Pongal festival bonus for its employees & teachers!

The government of Tamil Nadu has announced the payment of bonus on the occasion of Pongal festival for all teachers and state government employees.
All state government employees under the cadres ‘C’ & ‘D’ and teachers on this cadre will get a maximum bonus of Rs. 3000/- as bonus or 30 days’ salary.
A special additional allowance of Rs. 1000/- is announced for the employees under cadres ‘A’ & ‘B’ and teachers on this cadre.
Pensioners and retired VAOs (Village Administration Officer) will get Rs. 500/- as Pongal bonus.
