Isolated rains likely in South Tamil Nadu

The Meteorological Department has mentioned that the North East Monsoon began on 17th October and withdrew on 4th of this month. The average rainfall during the monsoon was 43 cms.
After the withdrawal of monsoon, there is a dry weather prevailing in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. There is mist and fog during the nights and mornings. The Meteoro Dept has announced that there are chances of rain in South parts of Tamil Nadu due to an upper circulation of air in Indian Ocean.
