Free bus travel accorded for Tamil Experts with Awards under 12 Tamil Literature Legends!

State government of Tamil Nadu has announced that all eminent Tamil scholars who have won awards given under the 12 Tamil Literature legends such as Thiruvalluar, Bharathiar, etc will be given free travel in government buses throughout Tamil Nadu.
To get this free travel board pass, the awardees should register in the Tamil Development Centre (for Chennai residents) or the office of the Deputy Director for Tamil development in the district collector’s office by presenting the award and a photograph.
The registration will be processed to reach the Transport Department Managing Director when the free board pass will be made and released.
This free boarding pass has to be renewed every year.
