State of Tamil Nadu warned about Brain fever!

Central Minister for the department of Health, Mr. J P Nadda, conducted detailed discussions with the Tamil Nadu State Health Minister, Mr. Vijayabhaskar regarding the central government’s health welfare plans.
An official press release on this meeting was made by the central government.
There have been a few cases of brain fever & severe brain fever in Tamil Nadu. The state government has been advised and warned to take all necessary precautionary steps including creating awareness among the public.
Central government has approved to set up State Cancer Institute in Tamil Nadu. The funds for this project will be allotted shortly.
An analytical meeting on brain fever is scheduled to be conducted in Delhi tomorrow (7th January). State health ministers from Tamil Nadu, U P, West Bengal, Bihar, and Assam are participating.
