Tamil Nadu State Government has announced that the free dhotis & saris to be distributed among the poorer section of the society will be completed before Pongal festival.
The free dhotis & saris, made by the Weavers’ Cooperative Societies, are being dispatched to the different taluks.
There were detailed discussions during a special meeting regarding the arrangements made for the quick & error-free distribution of the dhotis & saris.
