Government Order to provide top security to Anna & MGR memorials!

With increasing terrorist threatening warnings, the state government has ordered the topmost security for the Anna & MGR memorials located in the Chennai Marina Beach.
The security arrangements will be similar to the level provided at Rajghat Gandhi Memorial in New Delhi.
It is gathered that there have been threatening warnings received from terrorist outfits on these 2 memorials.
Thousands of people make daily visits to these 2 important spots. Presently, there are no strict security arrangements. Ex-military servicemen take care of the security.
Following the government order, surveillance cameras have been installed at these 2 locations at a cost of Rs. 9 Lakhs.
In the next stage, armed police will be employed as security.
A sub-inspector will head the team of the armed police. An inspector will oversee the operations.
It is expected that the police take over the security from the ex-military servicemen in a day or two.
